On October 23, Days of Culture of Turkmenistan started in Albuquerque, the sister city of Ashgabat, USA. This event was organized in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi. A creative meeting of Turkmen and Tatar masters of folk arts and crafts took place on October 18 in Ashgabat as part of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. The venue for the event was the capital's Museum of Fine Arts, where in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the format of “cultural dialogue” the participants discussed the preservation, study and modern development of folk arts and crafts.

The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan started in Ashgabat on Tuesday, October 17. The opening ceremony was held at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
