An exhibition of works by artists from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey will open on September 2 in the Hungarian city of Lakitelek as part of the "Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World" project. This was announced in Budapest at a press conference in the National Assembly of Hungary by Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, the organization's website says.

Atageldy Garyagdyev, an opera singer, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, performed a song in Astrakhan that will become the musical arrangement of a documentary film about Magtymguly Fragi, which is currently being filmed in the Astrakhan region by Association "Turkmenfilm".

The State Academic Maly Theater of Russia will come to Turkmenistan in September as part of the Big Tours project. Russian artists will present two productions to the Turkmen public - "The Cherry Orchard" and "Marriage". Performances will run from 18 to 22 September on the stage of the Main Academic Drama Theater named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi.

The concert "Day of Turkmenistan" was held on August 28 in Astrakhan as part of the International Festival of Classical Art "Caspian Seasons-2023", which takes place in the Russian city from August 22 to September 6. Musicians and vocalists from the Caspian states - Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan came to the Astrakhan region to participate in the cultural action.

A coordinating council of opera and ballet theaters will appear in the CIS to exchange experience between cultural institutions and create a unified database of works. The creative project was initiated by the Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after S. Aini and will be opened in Dushanbe, the press service of the theater reports.
