During the celebration of China's main national holiday, which is observed on 1 October, the first International Festival Culture and Arts “Silk Road” was ceremoniously opened in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Tourists from around the world gathered at the Silk Road Happy World Park to immerse themselves in the rich customs of the region's countries and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China.

Vienna, the music capital of the world, known for its great composers such as Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart as well as pop musicians such as Falco, has announced the start of the 2024 Ball season. A bust of the great Turkmen classic Magtymguly Fragi will be unveiled in the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature, Moscow. The author of the bronze bust on a granite pedestal is a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, sculptor Zakhid Babayev.

By the decrees of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the title of “Hero of Turkmenistan” has been awarded to prominent cultural figures sculptor Saragt Babayev and artist Annajemal Nurmuhammedova.
