By the decrees of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the title of “Hero of Turkmenistan” has been awarded to prominent cultural figures sculptor Saragt Babayev and artist Annajemal Nurmuhammedova.

A vibrant cultural event organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan took place in Brussels. It brought together representatives from the cultural sector, including fashion and art figures from Central Asia and the European Union, as well as representatives from various organizations in this field. The event was part of the Cultural Exchange Week and demonstrated the importance of preserving Turkmen traditions through modern forms of art and fashion.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan presented an exposition of works of decorative and applied arts, as well as jewelry of the Turkmen people, as part of the Festival of Culture of Turkic States held in Tokyo.

The 9th Turkic World Documentary Film Festival has attracted considerable attention with 300 applications from nine countries, including Turkmenistan.

A little more than a month remains until the start of the VIII Moscow International Art Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov, which this year will be held from 28 October to 3 November. The 6th Tsinandali Classical Music Festival is taking place in Georgia from August 31 to September 8.
