The beginning of the academic year in Ashgabat was marked by a real book event - a new bookshop opened in the city, not far from the capital's Yoga Centre (on the site of the old zoo). The 6th Tsinandali Classical Music Festival is taking place in Georgia from August 31 to September 8. “Towards the VIII Festival “Sounds of Dutar” - this is the name of the concert, which will be held on 15 September in Moscow, at the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, and will be a kind of prelude to the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov, which this year will be held from 28 October to 3 November. The concert will feature jury members and laureates of musical competitions of different years. It starts at 16.00.

The immortal lines of the great eastern poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi sounded in the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on August 21 at an evening dedicated to his 300th anniversary.

A set of sculptures belonging to the Scylla group has been unearthed at Laodikeia in Denizli, a city famous for its archaeological monuments in Türkiye’s Western Anatolian Region. These extraordinary sculptures, reflecting the baroque style of the Hellenistic period, stand out with their well-preserved original paint and artistic style. The Laodikeia excavations are part of the “Legacy for the Future” project, initiated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to preserve Anatolia’s archaeological heritage and pass it on to future generations.
