Young Turkmen artists became prize-winners of the 8th International Biennale “Joys of Tashkent”

Creative works of pupils of art schools of Turkmenistan were presented at the exhibition “Joys of Tashkent”, held at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

Young artists from all over the world participate in the competition every year. And this time, more than 2,000 children’s drawings from different countries, including Turkmenistan, were exhibited here.

Among the participants are a pupil of the 3rd form of the Ashgabat Children’s Art school#2 Ogulniyaz Orazmukhammedova, who received a diploma, a silver medal and memorable gifts, and Gulyalek Kerkhanova, a second-form schoolgirl of the Tejen Children’s Art school, who also became a prize-winner, was awarded a certificate, a commemorative medal and gifts.

The winners were also congratulated at the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, where the award ceremony was held. Children and their teachers-mentors who took part in the biennale were awarded certificates of honor and memorable prizes from the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

For young authors, the Tashkent Biennale is a big creative exam before an authoritative international jury, among whose members are well-known artists, art historians, specialists in the field of children’s creativity, teachers of art educational institutions, representatives of the creative intelligentsia.
