Where COVID retreats – in China’s Wuhan, the mask regime was canceled

Mask mode is cancelled in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Residents of the city, which, according to the official version, the coronavirus began to spread from, were allowed to open their faces. However, citizens are in no haste to invoke this right.

According to journalists working in China, refusing to wear a mask outside is no longer an offense, but residents of Wuhan continue to walk on the streets in masks. Someone cares about health, and someone just because it’s warmer.

Wuhan became the epicenter of spreading COVID-19 in December 2019. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 68 thousand cases of infection have been recorded there. In total, 94 thousand cases of infection were detected in China, 4.7 thousand patients became victims of the disease (4.5 thousand of them in Wuhan).

The Chinese authorities managed to quickly localize the infection foci. This was largely due to a hard lockdown – entire cities and districts were blocked, and people were forbidden to leave their apartments. In addition, China began to conduct total testing for coronavirus.

In Wuhan itself, strict restrictions began to take effect in January, and since April they have been gradually eased.
