The UN Development Program is expanding the geography of free seminars on the development of entrepreneurial skills of young people in Turkmenistan. From February 3 to 4, seminars were held in the city of Turkmenabat. On February 7-8, classes are scheduled in Dashoguz, and 11-12 – in Turkmenbashi.

UNDP trainings on the development of entrepreneurial skills are modulated by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and are aimed at graduates of local and foreign universities who have not yet decided where to work.

Now private enterprise in Turkmenistan is on the rise, and the help of professionals can be very useful for young people who want to start their own business. The purpose of the seminars is to provide young people with knowledge of the current market and the possibilities of realizing their business potential.

The project, which started in July 2018, will last until the end of 2020, but the first results from the participants are expected by the summer of 2019. Upon completion of the training, UNDP plans to attract successful businessmen as mentors for new graduates.
