Turkmenistan sets repatriation flight for its citizens stranded in Turkey

Turkmenistan intends to organize on September 24, 2020 a repatriation flight to evacuate its 277 citizens, who were stranded in the Republic of Turkey due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Boeing 777-200 of Turkmen Airlines will fly on the route Ashgabat-Istanbul-Turkmenabat.

On arriving home, all Turkmen citizens will undergo a mandatory two-week quarantine in Turkmenabat.

Earlier, Turkmenistan set flights to bring home its citizens from Belarus, Russia and India.
