The trading structure of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the Company Turkmen Petroleum estimates the possibility of increasing the supply of diesel fuel to the Ukrainian market in 2019 by 40% (to 250-260 thousand tons). Company operating manager Charyguly Yuvshanov said about this at the Black Sea Petroleum Trading 2019 Forum in Odessa, the enkorr website reports.
The forum agenda include issues related to the marine supplies of petroleum products such as market trends, operation aspects of ports, transshipment facilities and service companies, legislation, etc.
The logistic capabilities of the Turkmenbashi Sea Port at the Caspian Sea make it possible to ship diesel fuel and other types of oil products year-round. At the same time, it was noted that the most attractive for shipments to Ukraine from an economic point of view is the delivery route through the Vologda navigation channel.
Turkmenistan assures the fuel quality and its compliance as per sulfur content with Euro-5 standard.
In 2018, deliveries of diesel fuel from Turkmenistan amounted to 187 thousand tons, the newspaper reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries produced diesel fuel in the amount of 769.1 thousand tons from January to May 2019. At the same time, TCOR intends to produce over 1 million 991 thousand tons of diesel fuel this year.
In January-April 2019, Turkmenistan’s petroleum products exports amounted to 668.4 thousand tons.
