The online meeting «Turkmenistan – Belarus: prospects of bilateral cooperation» in which official representatives of two countries will discuss overcoming of the trading barriers which have arisen in connection with new economic realities, is planned for September 30.
For January-June of the current year the export of Turkmenistan to Belarus was reduced by 10, 8 % as compared with the similar period of the past year. Import of the Belarus goods to Turkmenistan has decreased by 15, 3 %.
As a key factor of decrease in goods turnover the coronavirus pandemic acts. Discussion and search of ways of overcoming of the arisen trading barriers will help the countries to restore growth of trade and economic cooperation.
As organizers of forthcoming negotiations chambers of commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and Belarus will act. Heads of diplomatic services, representatives of various ministries and departments, experts-economists and businessmen of both countries will also take part in the meeting. The Belarus side continues to enrol participants of the discussion.
Within the limits of the meeting with the Turkmen side representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Ministries of Industry and Construction Production, Textile Industry will present the economic possibilities of the country.
