Turkmen students won 7 medals at the International Internet Mathematics Contest organized by the Ariel University of Israel.
The winners of gold medals were students of the International University of the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State University and the Pedagogical Institute. A student of the Institute of Architecture and Construction won the silver award, and students of the Turkmen State University took the bronze medal.
In team events, the Turkmenistan representatives, included students of the Turkmen State University, as well as the Turkmen State Institute of Power Engineering took the second place.
The annual Internet Contest in Ariel this time brought together about a hundred participants from Israel, Russia, Romania, Poland, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Last year, students of Turkmenistan won 9 medals of various degrees.
This year, the quantitative indicator of awards is slightly lower than in previous competitions in Ariel, but their qualitative composition is much higher.
If last year, Turkmen students just once occupied the first step of the podium, then this year the number of the highest medals has increased to seven!
By the way, student of the International University of the Humanities and Development Perman Iljanov performed brilliantly at the Ariel Contest for two years in a row, winning gold medals.
Gold medals took students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Ramazan Bahtiyarov and Govher Shukurova from the Turkmen State Pedagogical institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
“Silver” got a future architect Jepbar Asgarov and “bronze” – student of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Dovran Nurgeldiyev.
Murad Chashemov from TSU is also notable for stability, who won bronze medals for two years in a row.
