The organizers invited Turkmen producers to participate in the international food exhibition WorldFood Moscow 2020, which will be held from September 22 to September 25, 2020 at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow.
The international exhibition WorldFood Moscow is a unique exhibition of food products with an established reputation and traditions. Since 1992, WorldFood Moscow is held annually in Moscow.
At the WorldFood Moscow food exhibition, a wide range of vegetables and fruits, groceries, confectionery and bakery products, meat and fish, tea and coffee, canned goods, dairy products, oil and fat products and sauces, as well as frozen products and semi-finished products, healthy food products and domestic and foreign drinks.
The WorldFood Moscow food exhibition is a recognized platform for introducing new products to the Russian market.
In 2019, WorldFood Moscow was visited by 30,768 people – representatives of 92 countries and 79 Russian regions: 20,426 represented Moscow and the Moscow region, 7136 – other regions of Russia, 3206 – foreign countries.
As part of the business program, more than 15 events took place, at which more than 100 speakers spoke and attended by over 2,270 delegates.
According to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), private farms and entrepreneurial structures produced over 26 thousand tons of tomatoes, 14.5 thousand tons of melons, more than 7 thousand tons of fruit and berry products and 6.4 thousand tons of legumes last year.
Last year, tomato exports amounted to about 16 thousand tons, fruits and melons – more than 6 thousand tons, legumes – about 4 thousand tons. In total, export agricultural products were sold for more than 25 million US dollars.
