The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan undertook to increase the production of vegetable oil. Gündogar akymy and Kämilligiň gözbaşy business societies are actively building factories for its production.
Together, these enterprises will produce 24,000 tons of this popular product in the Turkmen national cuisine annually. Commissioning of industrial facilities is scheduled for next year.
Also within the framework of a comprehensive program to increase the volume of crop production in 2019, it is planned to expand the area under sunflowers by 5 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
In Turkmenistan, vegetable oil is a product of high demand, since most of the national dishes are not without its use. For example, pilaf, which cannot be cooked tasty without good vegetable oil, is the main festive dish of Turkmen national cuisine.
