Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra to give anniversary concert in Ashgabat

Next week, residents of Ashgabat will enjoy a long-awaited meeting with Galkynysh Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra. On Friday, October 25, Magtumguly National Music and Drama Theatre will host a concert dedicated to the anniversary of the joint orchestra that was founded in 2009. A young director Rasul Klychev will conduct the orchestra.

The program of the evening will be made up of compositions of the world and national music classics – widely known works by Johannes Brahms, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Karl Michael Ziehrer, Chary Nurymov and many others.

The event will be featured by soloists from Austria – Marta Nitranová, Neivi Martinez and Andreas Jankovič and by Turkmen opera singers – Leyli Okdirova, Atageldy Garyagdyev and others.

The orchestra will demonstrate once again the great power of art, which helps to come over the borders and unites people with high humanistic and aesthetic values.

On the eve of the concert of Galkynysh Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Ball will be held in Ashgabat.
