Turkmen-Austrian business forum in Vienna concluded with the signing of contracts

The 10th meeting of the Turkmen-Austrian Joint Commission chaired by the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, Orazmurat Gurbannazarov, and the Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Economic Affairs of the Republic of Austria Franz Vessig, took place on 13-14 June.

The development of the digital economy has become one of the main areas of search for ways of cooperation at the meeting. They also discussed the interaction and its prospects in the field of industry, transport and communications, construction and infrastructure, health and medicine, energy, agriculture, processing industries, banking.

Potential environmental projects were also submitted for consideration. The conversation also touched upon the development of contacts in the humanitarian sphere, through culture and creative exchanges, tourism.

In addition to the meeting, bilateral negotiations were held between representatives of Austrian companies and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

On June 14, a Turkmen-Austrian business forum was held, bringing together about a hundred Turkmen and Austrian entrepreneurs. It resulted in the signing of a number of contracts, including the purchase of equipment for the organization of various industrial production.

During the visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan visited the factory of the Austrian company FHW FranzHaasWafellmaschinenGmbH, which manufactures processing lines for confectionery factories.
