Oil transit from Turkmenistan through the Russian Federation amounted to 1.305 million tons in January-July 2020. This is specified in the materials of the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDD FEC).
According to these data, the growth of Turkmen oil transit through Russia during this period was 23.9%.
CDD FEC also reports that transit of Kazakhstan’s oil through Russia over the past seven months of 2020 increased by 3%, to be 9.498 million tons, and transit of Azerbaijan’s oil amounted to 29.5 thousand tons (a 91% decrease).
The message emphasizes that oil production in Russia decreased in January-July 2020 by 6.5% as compared to the similar period in last year, having amounted to 304.33 million tons.
The exports of Russian oil to non-CIS countries during this period also showed a decrease by 6.8%, to be 134.053 million tons.
