On July 18, the opening ceremony of the first visa service center of Turkmenistan “Silk Road” was held in the China’s capital – Beijing. The initiators of the opening the Center are the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the People’s Republic of China and Beijing Sungxiong Foreign Service, the leading consulting company of China.
Representatives of profile businesses and state bodies, public organizations, a diplomatic corps accredited to the PRC, as well as media attended the event. Mr.Yu.Syandun, President of Beijing Sungxiong Foreign Service Company, in his welcoming address highlighted the great potential of Turkmenistan’s tourism sector.
He also expressed confidence that the service center, having played an innovative role in simplifying the visa process, will serve as a practical step “in increasing the flow of Chinese tourists wishing to visit this beautiful country, popularity of which is growing all over the world.”
Chinar Rustamova, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, noted that the opening of the “Silk Road” Visa Service Center in Beijing “is an important event of 2018 that is helding in our country under the motto “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road”.
“There is no doubt, said the ambassador, “that the development of the tours along the Silk and Great Tea Route will be a new starting point in intensifying the interaction between the two friendly countries.”
From today, the Visa Service Center provides comprehensive consulting services to Chinese tourists and companies on prompt and competent preparation of the package of documents required for obtaining visas to Turkmenistan.
The visa service center is located in the Sanlitun prestigious part in the city of Beijing and has well-trained staff to handle the requests of applicants who can obtain reliable information about Turkmenistan’s tourism infrastructure, culture, rich traditions and ancient customs of the people.
The center is equipped with modern equipment necessary for professional and coordinated work, preparation and processing of visa documents, etc. A wide range of services also includes SMS-notice, insurance policy, mobile biometrics, courier service, etc.
Taking into account the tendency of Turkmenistan’s popularity growth as a promising tourist destination in the world, the center will work closely with leading Turkmen travel agencies to expand bilateral cooperation.
