At the end of October in the Russian capital the V jubilee season of the international festival of art «Sounds of dutar» named after Nury Khalmammedov will be held. Its purpose is to spread creativity of outstanding composers, exchange of experience between musicians from every corner of the globe and also development of cultural relations.
Musicians of different age categories who should perform the musical composition based on ethno-cultural traditions are invited to participation in the competition. It can be vocal or instrumental performance in nominations – soloists, ensembles, duets, and trio.
Competitive auditions will be held on October 31 and November 1. The gala concert where the brightest numbers of festival will be presented on November 3 will take place.
Besides the festival Grand Prix «Sounds of the dutar», the first, second and third places in each category, will be awarded titles of the winners of the competition and diploma of the participant will be bestowed upon. A special prize for the best performance of work of the Turkmen composer is also planned.
As a part of competent jury – composer Mamed Guseynov, the culture expert Tatyana Solodkova, honoured actress of Russia, singer Yekaterina Oblezova, honoured actress of Russia violinist Leonora Dmiterko and others.
On October 29, within the framework of the festival in the Moscow house of nationalities the international scientific-practical conference «Music in synthesis of arts and sciences: history and the present will be organised ». Experts, art workers, teachers of higher educational institutions will discuss the role of music in the modern world, and also aspects of its influence during different periods of musical history.
