The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan has been certified for compliance with ISO international standards

On the sidelines of the 1st Caspian Economic Forum, which takes place in Avaza, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) was awarded the ISO-9001 certificate of conformity. The certificate was awarded by Azat Mammadov, chief project manager of the SGS company in the Caspian region.

– The certificate is issued based on the results of verification of the great work that the SCRMET has done, and is a high assessment of its final result. We are confident that this award would serve the goals of the organization, increase its potential, credit confidence, as well as it would be a big milestone on the way of internal control.

As the representative of SGS noted, the work to comply the departments and organizations of Turkmenistan with ISO standards is becoming a good tradition. Many enterprises, representing not only the private, but also the public sector of the economy, have chosen this way.

– It is the indicator of openness and great desire to give dynamics to the development of the country as a whole and of these organizations in particular.

The importance of certification of companies in accordance with ISO is in the optimization of business processes, distribution of responsibility and establishment of objective assessment indicators of work results.
