On November 10 in “Ashgabat” shopping centre a solemn opening of an unusual shop took place. The goods presented on shelves – from souvenir products to costume jewellery, are absolutely original, as each bagatelle is made manually by talented masters of Turkmenistan.
– In this shop we have decided to collect all directions of handmade products. Pictures, clothes, home decoration and even national charms for the house, – speak the ideological inspirer of the project Louise Sabitova. – Fairs of masters are held mainly 2 times a month, now buyers will have a possibility to come and choose at any moment an exclusive gift to their taste.
Louise for about three years has been engaged in manufacturing of original hand-made articles. Thanks to an innate sense of taste and sense of beauty, the woman has created a number of refined bagatelles, similarity to which is practically not to find.
She has developed an idea with “ties” in national style. The accessory for women is recommended to be put on dresses without embroidery or on monophonic T-shirts. The original combination of modern style to elements of an ethnic suit allows to remain in fashion and to create an individual image.
As Louise Sabitova makes interesting panels of a plant which are considered at the Turkmen charm, – yuzarlik (harmel). For example, her friend- musician she has made a talisman from harmel in the form of the guitar.
In the solemn opening of the handmade goods shop which has been located on the 3rd floor of the shopping centre “Ashgabat”, singer Elena Oreshkina and musician Vladimir Gasumyants have taken part.
Besides a small concert program, visitors enjoyed entertainments and a meeting with masters representing their products.
