The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan has started an online queue management system, with which help through the official site of the department it is possible to apply for an international passport and for reception of supervising persons, as the press-service of SMST informs.
The innovation is especially topical during the present period of adverse epidemiological conditions in the world when observance of social distancing became not only norm, but also necessity.
The system suggests users to choose time convenient for visiting any day of the working week. In order to take an online queue, it is necessary for citizen to choose a necessary branch office of the department, to specify personal and passport data, and also to pay for service by means of a bank card.
The instruction recommends arriving at the place 10 minutes prior to the chosen time. In case of delay it is necessary to occupy a queue anew.
Simultaneously with introduction of new online service on the website of the Migration Service there has appeared the section “Multimedia”. It is possible to find photos and videos devoted to activity of the department, other useful instructions in it.
SMST remains to be one of the leaders in providing Internet-services among all official departments of Turkmenistan. On the website of the organisation the online application for international passport, with possibility to trace the status of its registration has been available already for a long time.
Systems of online queue are topical for any state and private establishments which conduct reception of a considerable quantity of people. The experience of the Migration Service becomes an excellent example for many firms and the organisations in the country which also work over embodiment of the Concept of development of digital economy in Turkmenistan up to 2025.
