The center of the Turkmen language and culture will be created in Astrakhan State University in the near future. This was stated by the acting rector of ASU Konstantin Markelov, summing up the results of the Caspian Economic Forum held in Avaza.
As a result of negotiations with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the country’s consulate in Astrakhan, it was agreed that a teacher from Turkmenistan would lead the center. He will also teach children at the school named after Makhtumkuli Fragi, located in the village of Funtovo, Astrakhan Region.
In the coming days, work will begin on the preparation of an Agreement between the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and ASU in the field of exchange of students and teachers. A joint project of grant research in the field of digital technologies, logistics of road and rail transport in the Caspian will also be developed.
Already in September, representatives of the university will be able to come to the Turkmen capital to participate in the distribution of state quotas for applicants who wish to receive higher education in Russia.
