Table tennis is very popular in Turkmenistan, and our athletes successfully perform at various international competitions in this sport. Thus, Turkmen tennis players won 3 gold medals at the World Table Tennis Championship in Kuala Lumpur in 2016. Young tennis masters are also pleased with their achievements, becoming prizewinners of a special tennis tournament in Central Asia.
This is the great merit of the Turkmen coaches and the Turkmen tennis school, which trains really talented children who represent our country in various international competitions.
