In Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the upcoming International Neutrality Day, another convicted persons are pardoned. Today, at the government session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on pardoning convicted citizens.
Under the Decree, 528 conceited persons will be released from further main punishment as imprisonment as well as from additional punishment as living in certain areas.
According the Decree of President, on the occasion of International Neutrality Day, as well as following the principles of mercy and humanity and with the aim to further strengthen the solidarity and cohesion of Turkmen society and each family, convicted citizens are pardoned.
Having signed the document, Turkmen leader has tasked the heads of law-enforcement agencies to join efforts with heads of local authorities to ensure that all pardoned persons will be freed and return home to their families as well as to tackle issues of employment of persons returning from detention facilities.
