President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, congratulating the people of Afghanistan on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of Islam, called upon all parties, inspired by the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, to end the war and join the peace process, the Afghan Voice Agency reports.
Speaking at the ceremony on the occasion of the Muslim Holiday, the head of Afghan state emphasized that justice is the basis for a lasting and sustainable peace.
President Ashraf Ghani said: “So that to make peace not temporary, but permanent, society needs justice, and it is imperative that no one feels oppressed and disadvantaged”.
According to Ashraf Ghani, the absence of peace is a common loss, and the Afghan people have been striving for it for decades.
Ghani also emphasized that most of the life of the Prophet of Islam was devoted to the strengthening of peace.
On November 9, Muslims around the world celebrated an important religious holiday – Mawlid al-Nabi or the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.
