The President of Turkmenistan Signed a Decree on the Pardon of 276 People

The President of Turkmenistan has signed a decree on the pardon of 276 people in honor of the International Neutrality Day. According to the document, these individuals are released from further serving their main sentence of imprisonment.

The Head of State instructed the relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to ensure that those pardoned return home to their families in the near future, as reported by Turkmenistan's State Television and Radio Broadcasting.

In Turkmenistan, the act of pardoning convicted citizens has become a good tradition, held annually before significant national holidays. This humanitarian initiative is based on national values of mercy, forgiveness, and respect for human life.

The main goal of the pardon is to provide individuals who have committed crimes but have sincerely repented for their actions the opportunity to reintegrate into society and begin a new life.
