The 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence Day was celebrated in Istanbul
28.09.2023 | 15:54 |A round table dedicated to the Independence Day of Turkmenistan was held in Istanbul on September 27 in the building of the Turkmen Consulate General, which organized the festive event. The participants of the action were Turkmen students of medical higher educational institutions, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, Turkish companies and mass media.
Consul Muhammetnur Ovezov congratulated the audience on the holiday and made a report on the main achievements of Turkmenistan since Independence and spoke about the ongoing reforms in the country. The diplomat paid special attention to the successes in the development of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres. In particular, he stressed the importance of expanding ties between higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
As part of the festive meeting, the diplomatic mission launched an exhibition of paintings by Turkmen artists who captured historical monuments and picturesque corners of the country on their canvases. The guests also watched a video about Turkmenistan's achievements over the years of independence.
The participants of the round table in their speeches expressed gratitude for the invitation and wished further prosperity to the Turkmen-Turkish fraternal relations.
The participants were treated to Turkmen national dishes and presented with memorable gifts.
