The books were handed over to the educational institution by the Minister of External Relations of the Astrakhan region Vladimir Golovkov.

The Turkmen-Russian school in the Turkmen capital maintains close ties with the Magtymguly Pyragy school in the village of Funtovo, which is located in the Astrakhan region. Golovkov said that the current year is being held in both schools under the sign of preparation for the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, and a number of joint events are planned to be held on this occasion.
