Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his 65th birthday

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyeva on his 65th birthday.

The Turkmen leader noted in his message on this occasion that Uzbekistan "plays an important role in solving important tasks of our time and maintains open and constructive relations with many countries."

Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have established dynamic and effective ties based on the principles of good neighborliness, respect and mutual support, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed. An example of this is the recent meetings and negotiations, as well as a large package of documents signed during Serdar Berdimuhamedov's first state visit to Uzbekistan.

The head of the Halk Maslahaty congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his 65th birthday and praised the achieved level of interstate relations, noted the special attention and personal contribution of the head of Uzbekistan to their strengthening.

During the conversation, it was noted that today the Turkmen-Uzbek trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties are dynamically developing, inter-parliamentary contacts are intensifying, contributing to the convergence of the approaches of the two countries to solving common urgent problems of our time.
