Passion for Akhal-Teke horses unites the European communities in a thematic webinar

Turkmen diplomatic missions in Paris and Vienna organized an international culturological webinar on the Akhal-Teke horse breeds. The webinar was co-organized by the Akhal-Teke Association of France and the Turkmen-Austrian Society.

The online event was attended by officials, public figures, amateurs and breeders of Akhal-Teke horses, not only from these two countries, but also from the Netherlands, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania. Representatives of the Turkmen diaspora in Europe also joined with pleasure.

During the video session, Jean-Roche Galle, Director General of the French Horse and Riding Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of France, emphasized that he himself has a passion for Akhal-Teke horses and that the institute he heads is ready and is open for full cooperation in horse-breeding with the State Association “Turkmen horses”.

President of the Hungarian Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding, Nyéki József Gyule, having taken the opportunity, expressed deep appreciation to the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on conferring the honorary title “Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan”.

Mr.Gyule proposed to found a coordination center for Akhal-Teke horse breeders in Europe with headquarters in Budapest and assured that he would continue to do his best to promote the Akhal-Teke horses in Hungary, in Europe and around the world.
