The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project is progressing according to the timelines agreed by the participating countries of the project, without any delays. The statement came from the Ministry of energy of Pakistan, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
“The planned flow of non-compressed gas from the TAPI gas pipeline project is December 2023”, the APP quotes official available project documents.
The first phase of practical work on TAPI in Pakistan will start in Chaman. The term of its implementation is two and a half years.
The pipeline will run from Chaman to Multan via Quetta and Dera Ismail Khan.
The Pakistani side has also already appointed the technical consultant and the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) completed for Pakistan-section of the project.
