ORIENT congratulates TASS journalist, a native of Ashgabat, on the award of the Russian Foreign Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation awarded a Russian journalist of Azerbaijani origin, a native of Ashgabat Saadat Kadyrova. The head of the TASS department for relations with diplomatic information structures became the winner in the nomination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation “For combining journalism and charitable activities within the framework of the project “Dreams Come True”.

The award took place at the Four Seasons Hotel at the reception of the Moscow Union of Journalists dedicated to the Day of Russian Press. Saadat Kadyrova was presented the diploma of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia by the director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

We congratulated our fellow countrywoman on the journalistic award by e-mail. In response, Saadat thanked us for the congratulations. “Ashgabat is my Motherland and I love this place with all my heart, so thank you very much for your work in glorifying our common Motherland. Good luck in everything!” she wrote.

“Dreams Come True” is Saadat Kadyrova’s special social project on the kadyrovaonline YouTube channel. The journalist publishes her video interviews with famous people. They talk about their dreams, and then randomly choose a note in the treasured box with the desire of a child from a poor family or suffering from one or another disease. They can fulfill this desire themselves or transfer this right to sponsors.

Saadat was born in Ashgabat. Her father is a civil engineer, and her mother is a doctor. She graduated from high school in the Turkmen capital, and then graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
