On the Independence Day of India: Aspects of Cultural Heritage

Indian culture is one of the most outstanding and unique. It is composed of various traditions and customs. In modern India, there is cultural and religious diversity, which vary in every region.

It inspires with its philosophy, as it was here that a meditation into deep conscience mind of a human soul was formed, the practice of yoga, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

According to Indian philosophy, human consciousness has three main aspects: jnana – awareness, ichcha – desires and emotions, and kriya – action. All three stages should be improved with the help of yoga, a discipline of mind, allowing a person to understand himself, his environment and his relationship with him.

The practice of self-knowledge is not the only thing in the culture of india that attracts people. Duty, wealth, desire and abandonment of all desires are four goals that, according to the Indian philosophy, support, nourish, console and elevate. Therefore, it is a human obligation to fulfill a duty, achieve a wealth, fulfill desires and reject all this.

In addition, amazing music and “dance” are unique features of Indian culture. By dancing, the Indian people spiritually improve as well as develop aesthetic feelings and mind.

And what a music that make guys and girls dance! A tambour – a four or five-stringed musical instrument, creates its melody and rhythm. The mood of the fourth string depends on the performed raga – the musical style of the composition, while others are tuned the same.

India is at the special exceptional place in world culture. Being a country of the East, it had a huge impact on the West. Many of its monuments and achievements are the part of other civilizations.
