As is known, there are no former boxers. So the two absolute world champions in this sport have the same opinion. On November 28, the USA will host a fight between living legends: Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.

Tyson is 54 years old. He had 58 fights, won 50 (44 by knockout), lost six, and two more fights were declared invalid.

Tyson’s last fight took place on June 11, 2005, in which the American lost to Irishman Kevin McBride. Tyson became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, the holder of the belts of the World Boxing Council, the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation.

Jones, 51, retired in 2018. The American, who has Russian citizenship, was the undisputed light heavyweight world champion. In total, he has 66 wins (47 by knockout) and nine defeats.

The Jones-Tyson fight was supposed to take place on September 12, but was postponed to November 28 due to the desire of the organizers to increase profits from paid broadcasts.

Moscow Lokomotiv midfielder Alexey Miranchuk is close to transferring to Serie A. The transfer of the Lokomotiv player is reported on the official website of Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio. According to him, the parties have already agreed on the amount of the transfer, which will amount to €14 million. The 24-year-old player has to agree on the terms of his personal contract with Atalanta.

At the moment, the player is injured. He played five matches in the new season, scored two goals and made one assist.

Miranchuk is undoubtedly the main star of Lokomotiv. Last season, he played 30 matches in various tournaments, scoring 14 goals and making five assists.

In the 2017/18 season, the midfielder led Muscovites to the Premier League Championship. Also, together with the team in different years, he won the Russian Cup three times and the Russian Super Cup once. Alexey Miranchuk is a member of Lokomotiv and has been playing for the main team of the club since 2013.

The Italian Football Championship is due to start on September 19, but according to the Football Italia portal, the clubs are asking to postpone the start of the tournament by one week. The request was initiated by Inter, which played in the Europa League final on August 21. Last season ended on August 2. The champion was Juventus.

The press service of the International Judo Federation (IJF) announced the dates and venue of the World Judo Tour rounds.

Budapest, Tokyo and Doha will host the competition in 2020-2021. The Hungarian capital will host the round in the second half of October. Tokyo, which will host the Olympic Games in 2021, will hold its round in December. The competition will be held in the capital of Qatar in early 2021.

It is reported that all competitions will be held in compliance with the necessary epidemiological precautions, and the organizing countries are ready to accept participants from any country.

Earlier, the International Judo Federation (IJF) published a protocol for resuming the competition during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the document, all competitors (athletes, officials, coaches) must comply with mandatory safety rules to participate in IJF tournaments. In particular, they have to provide on arrival two negative COVID-19 tests (the test is carried out maximum five days before arrival with an interval of 48 hours), as well as a certificate confirming the absence of symptoms for at least 14 days.

All three tournaments will be the qualification for the Olympic Games. The Tokyo Olympics will run from July 23 to August 8, 2021.

The quarterfinals of the FIDE Online World Chess Olympiad will take place on August 28.

In 1/4 the teams from Russia and Hungary, the USA and Ukraine, India and Armenia, Poland and Azerbaijan will meet. The initiative to hold distance competitions was widely supported and brought together teams from 163 countries around the world. It is the first time when the international tournament is held in the new form. The competitions began on July 25 with the final game scheduled for August 30.

This is a kind of replacement for the face-to-face competitions of the 44th Chess Olympiad, which had to be postponed due to complications associated with the epidemiological situation in the world.
