The Caspian Media Forum-2023 will be held in Astrakhan on September 18-19. Within the framework of the event, a discussion platform "International Transport Corridor "North – South" is organized. New realities — new opportunities"

This is a presentation of one of the large-scale projects that is designed to change the transport flows of many countries, according to the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Astrakhan region.

The participants will discuss with experts from various industries the current situation and prospects of the transport corridor, determine forecasts for the development of special economic zones of the Caspian cluster. The construction of modern vessels for the development of navigation in the Caspian Sea, as well as the development of the international transport corridor "North —South" as an actual media news of the Caspian region will be touched upon.

Among the speakers at this venue will be Merdan Meretgylyjov, Director of the branch of JSC "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan" in the Russian Federation.

In 2023, the Caspian Media Forum will host guests from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, as well as Belarus, India, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The main topic of the forum is "Public diplomacy and social media as a factor of rapprochement of peoples". The plenary session on the topic "The role of the media in strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between the countries of the Caspian region" will be opened by the Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin. The meeting will be attended by the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov, Chairman of the MTRK "Mir" Radik Batyrshin and others.
