Oriented on making people closer

According to the results of the qualifying tournament, all participants of the youth (U-23) Asian Football Cup, which will be held in Qatar from April 15 to May 3, 2024 became known.

The tournament will feature 16 national teams from different Asian countries. Among them are four teams that won the last tickets to the finals after the final matches of the qualifying tournament. These are the teams of Kuwait, Tajikistan, China and Malaysia.

The winners of 11 groups – Jordan (group "A"), the Republic of Korea (group "B"), Vietnam (group "C"), Japan (group "D"), Uzbekistan (group "E"), Iraq (group "F"), the United Arab Emirates - directly entered the final part of the tournament (Group "G"), Thailand (group "H"), Australia (group "I"), Saudi Arabia (group "J") and Indonesia (group "K").

The Qatar youth national team (U-23) will take part in the competition as a host. The qualifying tournament was held from August 23 to September 12 in different Asian countries. 43 teams participated in it, which were divided into 11 groups. The winners of each group, as well as the four best second teams, received the right to compete at the final stage.

The team of Turkmenistan failed to make it to the final part of the tournament, taking second place in group "K" with three points scored.
