The Balkan Shipyard will build two bulk carriers together with Korean specialists
14.09.2023 | 15:44 |The Balkan Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant and the Korean company Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd. (KSIT) have signed a contract for the joint construction of two dry cargo vessels with a capacity of 6,100 tons.

Under the contract, highly qualified Korean engineers will train specialists of the Balkan plant in Korean shipbuilding technologies. The plant will also introduce a modern quality management system. The design work will be carried out taking into account the high standards of safety and environmental protection adopted in shipbuilding.
Cooperation with Korean specialists will contribute to the improvement of Turkmenistan's maritime infrastructure, as well as the development of trade and transport links of the country.
