The Olympic football team of Turkmenistan has completed its performance in the selection for the Asian Championship-2024, losing to the team of Indonesia in the final match of the qualifying cycle for the Asian Cup-2024 among Olympic teams in group "K".

The meeting, held in Surakarta, ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of Indonesia.

The Turkmen football players ran to recoup, because in order to guarantee themselves a place in the final round of the Asian Youth Cup-2024, the national team had to defeat the Indonesians in a face-to- face meeting, which could well be arranged by a draw.

After all, in the first match Indonesia defeated Chinese Taipei - 9:0, while Turkmenistan defeated Taiwan with a score of 9:0. Thus, Indonesia is in first place in the standings due to the difference between goals scored and conceded.

The attacks and combinations demonstrated by the Turkmen football players did not give a result, and at the end of the match, in the time compensated by the referee, the opponent hit the gate again. The author of the goal was Arhan Pratama.
