The matches of the third round of the Central Asian Tennis Championship (U-12) have ended in the tennis complex of the Olympic Town.

In the third day of the game, Turkmen athletes lost to the team of Kazakhstan in a hard struggle - 3:0.

The Kazakh team entered the court of the capital's complex at number one, having considerable experience of performing at international tournaments, but their Turkmen peers put up a decent resistance.

― Turkmenistan has a modern sports infrastructure, it is a great honor for Kazakhstan to take part in this tournament. The championship is a kind of platform for us to exchange experience and test our own strength," Darkhan Savdenov, a representative of the Kazakh team, told ORIENT.

In the boys' matches, Ali Geldiyev lost to Arnur Tursunkhan with a score of 6:1 6:1, and Suleyman Hudayberdiyev was defeated by Ahmadi Makkhanov - 6:0 6:0. In doubles, the Kazakh duo Nurdavlet Balkan prevailed over the tandem of Nazargeldy Amangeldiyev and Ali Geldiyev with a score of 6:0 6:0.

In the girls' category, Kazakhstani Amina Nurmakhan beat Anna Poniatova - 6:0 6:0, and Yasmina Dussembayeva was stronger than Aylara Kakabayeva - 6:1 6:2. In tandem, Nazli Hudaygulyeva and Anna Ponyatova lost to Nurai Bayseitova and Amina Nurmakhan with a score of 6:0 6:1.

In other matches of the tour, Tajikistan beat Kyrgyzstan with a total score of 3:0, and Uzbekistan prevailed over Afghanistan with a similar advantage.

According to the results of three rounds, Kazakhstan led the standings among young men. The second place was taken by the team of Uzbekistan. Turkmenistan closes the top three. Among the girls, the position in the standings looks similar.

As part of the game program of the fourth round, Turkmenistan will meet with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan will hold a duel against Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will play with Afghanistan.
