Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University will open a language center for teaching Russian in Ashgabat

The center for teaching the Russian language and open education in Russian in Turkmenistan, operated by the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NSPU), will open this autumn in the Turkmen capital. Since 2009, this university has been a forge of teaching staff for the Turkmen educational system - more than 1,000 university graduates have confirmed their diplomas, successfully working in educational institutions of Turkmenistan.

This was announced on Wednesday in Kazan at the International Educational Conference "Shaping the Future" by the rector of NSPU Alfinur Galiakberova, the “Chelninskiye Izvestiya” newspaper reports.

The language center will be based in the Russian House in Ashgabat. Teachers of the National State Pedagogical University will come to Turkmenistan and take part in the action, as well as conduct advanced training courses for 300 graduates of the Russian Pedagogical University.

In addition, NSPU teachers plan to hold annual educational, educational and scientific events until 2028, as well as organize Russian language training and advanced training courses for Turkmen citizens.

The topic of opening the future center in Ashgabat will be one of the main ones during the meeting in Kazan between the rector of the National State Pedagogical University Alfinur Galiakberova and the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan. The negotiations will take place on the sidelines of the international forum, which began its work on Wednesday in the capital of Tatarstan.

The conference in Kazan will be held from June 7 to 9 and will become one of the largest thematic events in the field of education, where more than 20 relevant ministers from Egypt, Senegal, Mali, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic, the Syrian Arab Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Venezuela, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and other countries will meet.

Recall that the National State Pedagogical University has been cooperating with Turkmenistan for almost 15 years. Today, about 300 Turkmen students study at the university in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs.
