The World Breakfast Day was celebrated at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan

As part of the World Breakfast Day, celebrated annually by UNESCO on the first Sunday of June, a Turkish breakfast was presented at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador in Ashgabat.
The event was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral, employees of the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, as well as representatives of the media.
In his speech, Ambassador Oral said that on this special day they gathered together with Turkmen friends, and noted that food and drink occupy a very important place in Turkish culture.
"We use these rich tables to get together with our friends to talk, share our joys and share our sorrows," Oral said.
The Turkish Ambassador said that the first Sunday of June is celebrated worldwide as World Breakfast Day on the initiative of Turkey: "At the same time, Turkey has applied for registration of Turkish Breakfast Day in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. We believe that the culture of Turkish breakfast will be included in this list very soon."
