Issues of border security in the CIS discussed in Tajikistan

The Turkmen delegation took part in the working meeting of the heads of border agencies of the CIS member states, which was held in Guliston, Tajikistan. This is reported by the press service of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
The participants of the meeting discussed issues of organizing activities to ensure border security at external borders, improving information exchange and countering the penetration of persons involved in illegal activities into the territory of the CIS member states.
It is noted that the meeting will contribute to the further development of cooperation between the border agencies of the CIS member states in the implementation of border control at checkpoints on the external borders.
