Spring dressed in classical music: a concert of the State Symphony Orchestra will be held in Ashgabat

Tickets for concerts of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan always fly very quickly. Maestro Rasul Klychev – the head of the composition and the musicians of the orchestra do not remain in debt and "give out" bright performances every time. This time they invite their audience to an evening of "serious" music – "Masterpieces of World Symphonic Classics", which will be held on April 9 at the Mukam’s Palace in the capital at 19:00.

― World music classics are something valuable, without which it is impossible to exist in principle. Musicians "grow" professionally on such serious works. This time we "touched" Tchaikovsky's very complex Symphony No. 6 – the premiere of which we will present to the Ashgabat audience," Rasul Klychev, the leader and conductor of the composition, told Orient.

Symphony No. 6, better known as Pathetic, is the last completed symphony by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – his "swan song", if I may say so. The composer himself called the work "Passionate Symphony", meaning "emotional", which was then translated into French as pathétique, which means "solemn".

― The Turkmen audience is already sufficiently prepared for such complex symphonic works, so we hope that the concert program will appeal to the capital's music lovers. Classical compositions by Russian and Spanish composers will be played alternately, and listeners will also be able to enjoy the performance of Leyli Okdirova, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, who will sing the aria of the Snow Maiden from Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Snow Maiden".

By the way, another of the virtuoso compositions of this composer "Spanish Capricio", which he wrote under the inspiration of folk art and culture of Spain, will be performed for the first time in Ashgabat by the State Orchestra," the Turkmen conductor noted.

In addition, a few days later, soloists of the State Symphony Orchestra Yusup Ovezov, Mahri Orazova, Didar Yomudov and Selbi Ovezova will continue the spring concert program. The musicians invite Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital to an evening of "light" chamber music, which will be held on April 15 at the capital's Cultural Center located in the First Park.

The so-called "fluid" compositions will be performed by brass musicians – flute, oboe, clarinet, as well as piano. The performers will play solo works for individual instruments - Debussy's "Moonlight", Jacob Gade's "Tango Fantasy", Carl Nielsen's "Roman and Humoresque", Bella Kovac's "Dedication to Richard Strauss" and other compositions. In the "quartet" line-up, the musicians will play works by Romanian and Moldovan authors.

It should be noted that this is not the first concert of the soloists of the state Orchestra. Their programs "French Music", "Boring classics", in which variations on different themes from operas sounded, were very "liked" by the public, who are now always looking forward to the performances of their favorite musicians.

The concert starts at 18:00 in the Cultural Center of Ashgabat (first Park).
