Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting of the heads of border agencies of the CIS countries

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 7th regional meeting of heads of border agencies of the CIS member states, which was held in Almaty. This is reported on the website of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
The participants reviewed the threats to border security, discussed joint preventive measures to neutralize them at the external borders of the CIS member states.
The event was also attended by delegations from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, the Republic of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the Coordination Service of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops, the Anti–Terrorist Center of the CIS member States and the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure.
Following the meeting, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
The next regional meeting of heads of border agencies of the CIS member states is scheduled to be held in the first half of 2024 in Uzbekistan.
