The issues of combating human trafficking were discussed in Ashgabat

The issues of preventing human trafficking and identifying its victims were discussed during a seminar held by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Ashgabat, the official website of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan reports.
The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Ashgabat International Airport. The experts familiarized the seminar participants with best practices in the field of combating human trafficking and strategies for its prevention.
Representatives of the relevant ministries and departments noted the importance of intensifying cooperation in this area with public structures and stakeholders, conducting various campaigns to raise public awareness on combating human trafficking.
