Buried Hill Energy – Bronze Partner of OGT-2022

Buried Hill Energy is an independent oil and gas company headquartered in Cyprus with an executive office in London, England. Presented in Turkmenistan since 2007.

The company intends to develop a world-class oil field in the Caspian Sea (Block III) under a production sharing agreement with the government of Turkmenistan. The company's project activities include the collection of data from the 2008 dense grid 2D seismic and the 2012 partial 3D seismic at the Dostluk field (formerly known as Serdar/Kapaz). This extensive data collection allowed for a robust and detailed interpretation of this field with the possibility of more efficient evaluation and development in the future.

In January 2021, the governments of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum on the joint development of the Dostluk field. This collaboration is an excellent opportunity for Buried Hill Energy to further develop this project.

During a recent meeting with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov (September 28, 2022), Peter Kallos, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Buried Hill Energy, emphasized the company's great interest in further close cooperation in developing promising hydrocarbon fields in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea shelf and training highly qualified national personnel for the oil and gas industry.

Representatives of Buried Hill are expected to take part in the international forum “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan (OGT-2022), which will be held October 26-28 in Ashgabat with the aim of creating new and strengthening existing business contacts and partnerships.
