Turkmen-Kazakh relations are successfully developing in a wide range – Berdimuhamedov
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov spoke at the expanded Turkmen-Kazakhstani talks in Akorda. He thanked the head of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome and excellent conditions for joint work. “This year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Over the years, relations between the two countries have successfully developed in a very wide range of areas,” the Turkmen leader said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also noted that an active and trusting political dialogue has been established between the two countries at the highest level. “I fondly remember my visit last October. Thank you for your hospitality, creating all the proper and comfortable conditions for my stay in Ashgabat. This served as the basis for achieving serious success during this visit,” - “Kazinform” quoted the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan as saying.
He noted the productivity and richness of the talks held during that visit with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and conveyed his regards and best wishes.
Tokayev also noted the interaction within the framework of the Caspian process. “Recently, the Caspian Summit was held in Ashgabat, which was very successful, both in terms of the result and in terms of the hospitality shown by the Turkmen side. The organization was at a very high level,” the President of Kazakhstan said.
