At the informal CIS summit, which brought together the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on Friday in St. Petersburg, the preparations for the first Russia-Central Asia summit were discussed.

It will be held next week in Astana and will be the first in history.
