Turkmenistan is discussing issues of international cooperation with representatives of the Council of Europe within the framework of a 4-day visit of a Turkmen delegation consisting of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministries of Justice, Finance and Economy, as well as the Supreme Court and the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan.

The meetings taking place in Strasbourg, France, are planned within the framework of the "Rule of Law in Central Asia" Program for 2022-2023 and are aimed at creating a single legal space and accession to the Council of Europe Convention for non-member countries of the organization, according to the website of the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan.

The series of meetings also includes discussions on the fight against economic crimes, the European Human Rights Education Program for Central Asia.
