Iran looks forward to establishing free trade zones in the Caspian region

The head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, Alireza Peymanpak, in her comments on the upcoming II Caspian Economic Forum, told about Iran's prospects to obtain a market with a capacity of 600-700 billion US dollars, if a free trade zone is formed in the Caspian region, TASS reports.

According to the politician, since March of this year, Iranian exports to Russia have increased by 31%, and to Turkmenistan- by 40%. The head of the organization also noted the importance of the North-South international transport corridor, which which also includes Turkmenistan.
